§ 10-5. When medical examination required; discontinuation of employment during affliction.

  • The mayor, the board of health, any police officer or officer of the agency to which the enforcement of this chapter is delegated, when any person engaged or employed in any food service establishment is suspected of being afflicted as provided in section 10-4 above, may require such person to be examined by a licensed physician in said city, and if found to be so afflicted, such person shall discontinue such employment during the period of such affliction.
