§ 6-28. Same—Application.

No permit shall be issued for the construction of any building or structure or swimming pool or for the remodeling or repairing affecting bearing walls, roofs, other than resurfacing of chimneys, or for moving a building onto a premises in the city unless an application is filed therefore and said application is accompanied by:
(1)

A plat or sketch of the proposed location showing lot boundaries, and,

(2)

Plans and specification showing the work to be done.

(3)

Plans and specifications submitted for the construction, alteration or addition to any multi-family dwelling, commercial or industrial building or building used for assembly or public purposes must have affixed thereon a seal issued to a State of Illinois licensed structural engineer or architect under the provisions of the state department of professional regulation.
