§ 6-27. Permit—Required.

It shall be unlawful to construct any building or structure other than a fence in the city where the cost of such construction exceeds $100.00, or alter or remodel any building or structure so as to change the bearing walls, beams, supports or the roof thereof or construct or install any swimming pool, hot tub or spa, as herein defined, without first having secured a permit for such construction or alteration or installation or in violation of the terms of such permit or in violation of the terms of this chapter.
