§ 21-11. Same—Charges and deposit; refund.

Before service is commenced pursuant to any agreement for extension of water and sewer service, or either of them, outside the corporate limits of the city, the applicant shall pay all connection, service, meter installation or other charges provided in this Code. Rates for services and any surcharges shall be as provided in this Code. A deposit for prompt payment of all water and sewer bills, or either of them, shall be made as follows:

(1)

Residential property where the customer does not own legal title ..... $100.00

(2)

Commercial or industrial uses ..... 125.00

When service is discontinued, the city shall refund the deposit after deducting therefrom any amounts owed by the user for unpaid water or sewer bills.
