§ 9-18. Definitions and interpretation of terms.

(a)

Wherever the word "municipality" is used in the fire prevention code it shall be held to mean the City of Mount Carmel.

(b)

Wherever the term "corporation counsel" is used in the fire prevention code it shall be held to mean the city attorney.

(c)

Wherever the words "chief of the bureau of fire protection" are used in the fire prevention code they shall be held to mean the city inspector.

(d)

The "limits" referred to in the following sections of the fire prevention code shall be held to mean the fire limits heretofore designated in section 6-1 of this Code:

(1)

Section 12.5b, relative to storage of explosives and blasting agents;

(2)

Section 16.22a, relative to storage of flammable liquids in outside aboveground tanks;

(3)

Section 16.51, relative to new bulk plants for flammable or combustible liquids;

(4)

Section 21.6a, relative to bulk storage of liquefied petroleum gas.
