§ 2-142. Office created; appointment; assistant, acting inspector.

There is hereby created the office of city inspector and the executive official shall be known as the city inspector, who shall be appointed by the city council. The city council may appoint an assistant city inspector. If such appointment is not made, then during the temporary absence or disability of the city inspector, the city council shall designate an acting city inspector.
