§ 2-28. Appointment; term; supervision by council.

The mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the city council, shall appoint the administrative assistant to the council, to serve at the pleasure of the mayor and the council. He shall be under the supervision of the council in all matters pertaining to the general management of the city.
