§ 21-53. Unauthorized use of or interfering with or damaging system.

No unauthorized person shall open or uncap any fire hydrant, or in any manner damage, destroy, alter or interfere with any building, pipeline, hydrant, meter, intake, machinery, property or fixture being a part of or in any way appertaining to the city's waterworks system, without having authority so to do from the superintendent or other person authorized to grant such permission.
