§ 21-27. Office of collector created; appointment; general duties.

(a)

There is hereby created the office of collector for the combined waterworks and sewerage system of the city to be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council expressed by ordinance or resolution.

(b)

It shall be the duty of the collector to render bills for water and sewerage service, or either of them, and all other charges in connection therewith and to collect all monies due thereon.
